Funded Childcare
Currently, all parents of three- and four-year-old children are entitled to a universal offer of 15 hours’ funded childcare per week, an offer also extended to the most disadvantaged two-year-olds. As of September 2017, the government introduced a new scheme, known as 30 Hours Childcare, which will provide an additional 15 funded hours to working parents of three- and four-year-olds. Some parents could therefore be eligible for up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week.
To find out more, and to see whether you are eligible, visit the Childcare Choices website.

Help With Childcare Costs
If you would find it difficult to pay the fees in full, there is a lot of help available to pay for childcare costs. You can get up to 80% of your childcare costs paid for via working tax credit. Use HMRC's calculator to find out what is available to you. The calculator is here.
As Dalgarno is a self funding body, it is necessary that fees are charged when a child is absent due to sickness, holiday or for any other reasons. We do rely on regular payments of fees. Failure to pay will jeopardise your child’s placement at the pre-school. Arrears must not exceed two weeks all payments must be keep up-to-date.
FEES POLICY
Fees are payable monthly in advance.
No refund will be given for periods where the place is unfulfilled due to illness, holidays or pre-planned pre-school events. We are closed on bank holidays and for five training days per year to support our continuing professional development for the benefit of children and families; no refund is given for these closures.
Late payments incur a late payment fee of £30. In addition, daily interest will be charged on all outstanding amounts at the rate of 3% above the Bank of England base rate.
DEPOSIT ARRANGEMENTS

EXTENDED SESSIONS
Penalty to late collection
Depending on circumstances, we reserve the right to charge parents for the additional hours worked. We give parents a grace period of five minutes of being late. However, if this lateness is a reoccurrence we charge parents £5 if you are more than 5 minutes late and £5 for every 15 minutes after that.
